Through landscaping, community gardens, mural arts, and providing shelter and education to the homeless, they have positively impacted communities and helped to reduce crime. The tour will include community gardens and show how the Mural Arts Program, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and Project H.O.M.E. have coordinated their work at specific sites. Two trolleys will drive through city neighborhoods enabling participants to see the gardens and the mural arts and will make two stops to permit a closer examination of the work. He obtained his medical degree from Santa Casa Medical  School in São Paulo, Brazil. He has also received special degrees in  health administration and occupational health. His post-graduate work is  in general surgery.
